Rudy Vranckx (born 1959) is a Belgian journalist and war correspondent for VRT NWS, known for long-form reporting from conflict zones since the early 1990s, including the Balkans, the Middle East, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and Ukraine. Trained as a historian, he built a reputation for on-the-ground documentaries and the Canvas series "Vranckx", focusing on civilians in war. His work has received national journalism distinctions in Belgium. He is based in Brussels and continues to report and present documentaries.
