Robert Singh grew up between Dehradun and Leicester before settling on the rainy coast of British Columbia. He studied comparative folklore at the University of British Columbia and worked as a glacier guide, night-shift librarian, and museum registrar, jobs that fed his fascination with high places and old stories. His short fiction has appeared in Lighthouse Quarterly, The Boundary Review, and the anthology Hills Beyond the Rain. He lives in Vancouver, where he co-runs a community climbing wall and teaches introductory mapmaking. When not writing, he is hiking subalpine trails, photographing lichens, or brewing tea in battered kettles scavenged from thrift shops.
