Morgan Graves is a Colorado-based novelist and audio engineer whose fiction explores the intersection of grief, folklore, and the uncanny. Raised in Pueblo and educated at the University of Northern Colorado, Graves spent a decade archiving obsolete formats for a community radio collective in the San Luis Valley, a job that left them with a garage full of reel-to-reel decks and ghost stories. Their short work has appeared in small-press anthologies and zines, and their previous books include the novella Tinderbone (2019) and the novel Salt in the Walls (2021). When not writing, Graves restores vintage tape machines and hikes the high desert canyons with a one-eyed cattle dog. They live in Salida, CO.
