Eleanor Aisling

Eleanor Aisling grew up on Ireland's west coast listening to storm-heavy stories of saints and selkies. She studied folklore and Old Irish at Trinity College Dublin, then spent a decade as a stage manager and prop artisan for touring theatre across the UK. Her short fiction has appeared in small-press magazines and anthologies, and her novella Salt on the Wind was shortlisted for the Green Finch Award in 2021. She now lives in Edinburgh, where she volunteers at a community arts workshop, teaches night classes on mythic structure, and hikes with a rescued greyhound named Lumen. When not writing, she builds odd instruments that sound like weather.
